About the Coffee and the Origin:
A Legacy Rooted in the Cerrado Mineiro - The Nunes Coffee story began in 1984 when Osmar Junior transitioned the family’s legacy from cattle ranching to coffee cultivation, planting his first 10 hectares of Arabica. Inspired by the "spice" of the land and the influence of Minas Gerais’ coffee pioneers, Junior reimagined coffee not as a commodity, but as a luxury to be savored.
Today, the third generation—Gabriel Nunes, an agronomist from the University of Viçosa—marries traditional passion with cutting-edge agricultural science. At Fazenda Chapadão, we combine innovation and family unity to produce award-winning specialty coffees recognized globally for their excellence. For the Nunes family, coffee is more than a drink; it is a lifelong pursuit of perfection.
